Sydney Travel

If you’re traveling to the city, get ready for a most enjoyable experience.  You’ll never be bored in Sydney, because there’s so much to do.  You can visit the CBD, North Sydney, or the inner city.  Whatever your pleasure, there’s something for you to do.

However, no trip to Sydney would be complete unless you visit the Sydney Opera House and go to Harbour Bridge and Sydney Harbour.

The best way to do this is by boat or ferry.  You can also walk along Circular Quay, where boat and ferry operators will greet you as they run trips out to the Harbour.

On the boat or ferry, you’ll go by inlets and small islands as you get an up-close and very attractive view of this part of the world.  If you go under Harbour Bridge, you get a different view of this most famous “coat hanger.”

The food in Sydney is one of its greatest attractions, so make sure you take advantage when you visit.  Darling Harbour, East Sydney, and the Rocks all have some very quality restaurants that you must pay a visit to.  These include Rockpool and Tetsuya’s, both world-famous eateries well deserving of their reputations.

For Sydney travelers, the Rocks area is most interesting.  This is an ancient heart of town and many of its buildings date from the 1800s.  In fact, this is the oldest part of Sydney.

It has many little pubs, cafés and patisseries as well. The Rocks is also a place where there are markets held every week and you can take home in unique items that aren’t available anywhere else.

For a bargain, go down to Haymarket, near Darling Harbour, and visit Paddy’s Markets.  Here, you’ll find everything from souvenirs, bags, phone accessories and more.  Yes, you can even find clothes. It’s easy to spend a whole day here just browsing.

Finally, visit the beaches of Sydney.  Take a train to Bondi Junction, followed by a bus trip in order to get to world-renowned Bondi Beach.  Even though it’s very busy in the summer, this is just one more thing that adds to its ambience.

If at all possible, you should visit Sydney at least once in your life.  It’s one of the most spectacular and unique places in the world, and its people are friendly and always welcoming.
